ERPIMS Environmental Data Management System - Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence:

ERPIMS (formerly IRPIMS) is the Air Force system for validation and management of data from environmental projects at all Air Force bases. This data contains:

• The contract which generated the results
• Site and location descriptions
• Global positioning information
• Monitoring well characteristics
• Hydrogeological-lithography information
• Analytical chemistry samples
• As well as, the tests and results of each sample

"ERPTools/PC" is the latest Microsoft Windows-based software package, which has been developed for distribution to contractors to help them in collection and entry of their data, validation and quality control of that data. ERPTools/PC performs hundreds of validation checks and is quite rigorous. The Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE/MSC) maintains the latest and official version of the ERPIMS specification and ERPIMS data structure. AFCEE will only provide support to users of this software who have had their requirement for support validated by a Government point of contact who manages a contract with the user's company.

Vance Air Force Base
Cherokee CRC, LLC has validated and organized the samples, results and tests for Vance AFB for fiscal years 2002 and 2003. This entails:

• Acquiring a set of data in a raw format (text)
• Organizing the raw data into the pre designed ERPIMS "categories"
• Formatting the raw data for compatible database upload
• Converting and cross linking data to correspond with existing site characteristics
• Validating and modifying any errors detected by the ERPTools/PC software
